After Trump development promise, Alaska geologist says state has 49 of 50 critical minerals
One day after President Donald Trump announced to a joint session of congress he would take “historic action to dramatically expand production of critical minerals and rare earths here in the USA” — an Alaska DNR geologist said Alaska has almost all of the critical minerals, currently defined, that could be extracted as part of the mining process.
