I ended up doing a presentation about #aviation in my #publichealth law & ethics class on monday, so my prof & classmates got to learn about a public health policy issue they hadnt thought about. while my aviation friends are reluctant to fill out #mentalhealth surveys that they get emailed…[1/2]
i also learned about medical jets that fly clinicians, patients, & caregivers to healthcare facilities. also, a few pilot pals mentioned policies dissuade pilots from seeking mental health services, certain prescription meds, etc for grief, burnout, blood pressure, diabetes, etc

I posted IG Stories of me trying new lip tints last month. In the last 2 photos of the lip tints, I wasn't smiling or wearing foundation. In response, I was DMed links to mental health & IPV resources. What a wild way to call me ugly 🤦 Such a gendered exp to expect women to smile & have perfect skin
