Iowa Republicans previously passed a similar law in 2023 for students through sixth grade. These attempts to erase the LGBTQ community are extremely harmful. That’s why we must stand up to statehouse bullies!

2/ Thankfully, Democrats and 17 Republicans stepped up & got this bill passed in the House. While a testament to the work constituents put in, this vote doesn’t change the fact that Republicans let these credits expire, causing Iowans to face higher costs already.
