Hi, I’m Andy, and I write pulpy adventure fiction, mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I was exposed to Middle Earth (the animated Hobbit TV movie), Conan (Marvel’s comics), Star Wars, and D&D all within a 3 year span in the late 70s, and I never recovered. I blame that for me becoming an author. #TBBChat

Farewell to #StarWarsInsider, one of the best sci-fi media magazines ever. I haven’t read it regularly since it was the official #StarWars fan club magazine, but its long publishing history speaks for itself. A lot of great artists and authors have graced its pages.

Today is the anniversary of the birth of Dave Cockrum, my favorite comicbook creator not named Jack Kirby. Dave was was a prolific character and costume designer, and both DC and Marvel benefited from his talents. Happy birthday, Dave, and thanks for all the memories!
