I was completely dazzled by the BBC Planet Earth series when it came out 20 years ago. Fresh out of high school and stuck in some very narrow beliefs about life, I found many clips in the series awe-inspiring and mind-blowing, and none more so than this bird of paradise clip. youtu.be/nWfyw51DQfU

I joined a guided bird-watching tour for the first time today at my local Audobon center and we saw egrets, herons, coots, gallinules, kinglets, an osprey, a red-tailed hawk, a peregrine falcon, and belted kingfishers! All in an restoration area that used to be a local garage dump. ✨🪶✨

A beautiful double rainbow I saw three years ago, today. I was feeling extremely heavy-hearted that day, caught in some bad cycles, but that year brought me some of my greatest blessings in life and set me on a healing path I am extremely grateful for. The journey continues...🌈🌈
