It’s been a rough 12 days and I haven’t felt creative at all, but I think maybe I’ll try to avoid the horrors of the world and write a little this weekend. Anyone else feeling like it’s hard to focus on creating anything?

People on the other site calling some girl a liar bc she said she’s read 110 books this year, and stating it’s impossible and that she must not have a job.
Me, with a full time job and also writing books, sitting at 237 books read so far this year: 🙃

There were crows foraging in my backyard, and I’ve always wanted a murder, so I threw out a few handfuls of in shell peanuts for them. I momentarily forgot my dog’s utter hatred of birds, and mistakes were made.

I forced myself to sit down with my laptop today and managed to get 1400 words in. After the hellscape for creativity that’s been November so far, I’ll call that a win.

This month has really put a screeching halt on my ability to write words. Has anyone else been feeling this way? Have you been able to crawl out of the pit of despair yet? I just want to be creative, but… ugh.
