On the not-being-R side, I saw it with my 10yo, and when we got out of the theater, he was like .. "I think thats is the best movie I have ever seen! Well, maybe except for the one with the 3 Spider-Mans." 😂

Predator Badlands was really fun!
Action was great, leads were great, everything was great.
Obviously it sucks a little that it’s not a visceral R rated blood fest, but that’s not the story they wanted to tell and I’m ok with that.
Recommend.

The family enjoyed watching Stranger Things together. We also enjoyed Wednesday, Skeleton Crew, & Cobra Kai as a family.
What other series does everyone recommend? (Kids are 10 & 12 & decently versed in 80s movies.)

I need your dumpling secrets. Pork n' sauerkraut is in the crockpot, I have another small one for the roaster in the oven later. I have tried to make Bisquick dumplings in the past to varying degrees of success in the crockpot, tried to "steam" in a pan. Haven't tried in the roaster.

Why is the new Year's Pretzel in fact not a pretzel, but a cake? I had never heard if it until at least 2003 or so when partying with the Geckos (IYKYK). Now, I see it everywhere. We always just did pork n' sauerkraut on New Years Day.
