I went to The Bad Place to engage with an airline company because I could not reach them via website, app, or phone. They responded because I called them out online, but they didn't fix my issue. Grrrr.

I was just given the pat down of my life at the tiny Shreveport Regional Airport. Apparently security is inversely proportional to the size of the airport. 🙄

Being home at my Mom's reminds me how much I miss having a piano to play. At some point I'll move the piano into my home in GA, and then I'll start taking lessons again.

Looked through a pack of old pictures of my Dad from 3 months to somewhere in his early 60s. Here's a pic of my Dad from August 1982. So much hair!

Took my Mom to see Wicked: for Good. I've never seen a sequel where they assumed you had seen the original this much. My Mom, who had not seen Part 1 was completely flummoxed.

I'm flying home to spend some time with my Mom. But I'll probably have to go over to Dad's too and clear out some of his junk. It seems so strange that he's not around anymore, and all that's left are the things in the house he collected. 😢

Sitting in Kaldi's Coffee and "We are the World" comes on. All of the sudden, when Whitney Houston sings her part, four women sing along with her! It was so joyful and meaningful!

From the "this is gross and not something you see every day" files: C's toilet overflowed, and today the plumber pulled a DEAD RAT out. So creepy!!! And horrible!
