I’m crying. Poor poor Sarah has died from her gunshot wounds. I never knew her before today and now I will never forget her.
RIP Sarah Beckstrom.

You know what I miss? I may be old fashioned (at 72, no less) but I miss reading a newspaper. The NY Times, The Oregonian, The Sun-Times.

I urge anyone who cares about film to watch one of the late Terence Stamp’s last featured roles in The Limey. It’s a terrific movie.

A fantastic movie. I’ve always been a fan of Eric Bana and this film is a superb example of his mastery of the material. A mystery shrouded in an age old death and a murder-suicide that might be more than meets the eye. Wow.

Check out The Dry on Hulu! www.hulu.com/movie/5aa46e...

@applecorp.bsky.social #apple Please, Apple, buy Perplexity.ai before some other company (Samsung?) snatches it away from you. It would integrate wonderfully with Siri. Please?

Just finished watching a terrific limited series on Netflix called #Untamed. Eric Bana leads a great cast in a mystery show that transcends the usual narrative for this kind of show. Highly recommended.

CBS - You should be ashamed! Cowards! At least be honest about why you cancelled his show.

Have fallen in love with MAX’s #Sherlock&Daughter, a wonderful take on Holmes, et al. Sparkling dialogue, great plotting, well drawn characters. Binge worthy.

DONT Check out “Ad Vitam” on Netflix
ITS AWFUL. DREADFUL. BAD ACTING. BAD EDITING. DEATHLY SLOW. ACTION SCENES PACED LIKE BAD 70s TV action shows. #NETFLIX

Just watched the final episodes of The Penguin on MAX and I have to say that if Colin Farrell doesn’t win the Emmy for Best Actor, I’ll be gobsmacked. The entire show deserves awards for writing, directing, production design and of course, acting. #ThePenguin @colinfarrellsgf.bsky.social

Just got my copy of The Last Dangerous Visions edited by Harlan Ellison. Only waited over 40 years for it!! Well be worth it. Even has a story by my bud Robert Sheckley! I am so happy. Ty, #JMichaelStraczynski et al.

Just watched Nobody Likes This on Netflix with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. It’s wonderful! Kristen is just the kind of girl I would love to meet. But I’m not a rabbi. #KristenBell #NobodyLikesThis

Just watched Know Goes Away, directed by and starring Michael Keaton. Great film. Probably his best performance (including Birdman). Four stars. A serious 10. #michaelkeaton #knoxgoesaway

Let me say this clearly: Joe Biden is old. I’m 71 and I’m old. But Joe Biden is doing a remarkable thing: he’s sacrificing his old age, the years he has left for this country. If that isn’t patriotism then I don’t know anything. If he were on his deathbed, I’d be voting for him.

Will all celebrities, elected officials and pundits who are against Joe Biden’s candidacy to please shut the f up.

#Sugartv #ColinFarrell I am so disappointed at this show’s big reveal. It was a good solid LA detective story, a mystery thriller that had all the hallmarks of a classic. And they ruined it by adding a sf element that wasn’t needed and turns it into something completely different. A stupid decision.

@TheRichardLewis One thing we’re missing now that Richard is gone was his friendship with the dear departed Stan Laurel, whom he has talked about before. Imagine the conversations they must have had! #StanLaurel

It’s nice to see that John Sayles’ masterpiece, Lone Star is finally being recognized as such. I’ve always felt it got way overshadowed by Fargo, which came out the same year and sucked up all the Oscars. But Lone Star is the superior film. #LoneStar #JohnSayles
