Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is everything I wanted it to be and more. You can tell how much love Sandfall put into it.

Finished up Cold Steel 2 yesterday. Very emotional finale and epilogue. Going to miss these goobers while I take a break from the series for a couple months so as to play some other games on my backlog and not burn out on my love for this series.

This new Zemuria Grand Odyssey album is fantastic. All of the arrangements are great, and they go far beyond what I was expecting.

I don't quite understand why people don't love Trails of Cold Steel 2. I'm nearing the end and it's been fantastic.
Let’s assume to half a second that the $5000 per American DOGE checks were real (they’re not). That wouldn’t even cover half of what I lost in the last three days. And I’m a young American with a fairly low 401k.
But hey, at least the price of eggs will continue rising due to these tariffs.

I’ve heard mixed things about Trails of Cold Steel as an arc, but so far I’ve loved it. I think the side characters are the strongest they’ve ever been, and the main cast is great too. Add in good music and a solid political story, and I’m happy.

I think the greatest success of Trails of Cold Steel 1 is making me care about a nation that I did not want to experience. By the end, not only did I care about the main characters, but even just the regular ones walking around Thors and Trista.

Seeing marked improvements at the gym is such good motivation. I still have a ways to go before my goal but my endurance, pace, and distance are all improving on my runs.

I forgot that the Tales of Graces intro is like a couple hours long. I remembered it being a thing but forgot that Asbel as a kid is actually a fairly competent character to use in battle.

I really wanted to finish one more book before the new year, but it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it. That's okay though, I started my adult reading journey in September and read 8 and a half books before the end of the year. I'd say I did pretty good for someone reclaiming their love of reading.
