Day two! Avon is back as a junior at NEIU for Music Education and Percussion! We are so proud of their work and so excited to see where they go next (and I’m so glad they aren’t triplets because I can’t do anymore than two days of emotionally moving kids out of the house). @omnikel.bsky.social

Today we drove Charlie — our kind, considerate, courageous, and creative kid (one of two!) — out to start a brand new year as a junior studying Environmental Science at NIU in DeKalb. We are so proud. It was an exciting and tiring and happy/sad kind of day. @omnikel.bsky.social

Exciting new chapter from today: Charlie is transferring in the fall to NIU in Dekalb for Environmental Science so I got to spend the day with them at student orientation. Man, that science building is straight out of the 80s and cool AF.
