Transgressive art is not specifically meant to be enjoyed or even appreciated by the viewer. The whole point of it is to expose the hypocrisy of society and to question the accepted "norms" of society.

My new book, Body of Evidence, will be published in October by @unboundedition.bsky.social. An artistic experiment in writing about violence, the book examines what can’t be said, what's dangerous and necessary to say, why some people remain silent and what silence means in the face of survival.
Unbound Edition Press announced it will publish @aimeeparkison.bsky.social’s cross-genre story collection, Body of Evidence. The title, which blends real-life crime reports and speculative fiction, is scheduled to arrive October 2025 to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
