Are all of us recent adopters still introducing ourselves? I made the first Final Fantasy cover on OCRemix.org like 24.5 years ago. I've done a bunch more cool stuff since then, but if you're seeing my name pop up and don't know why it sounds familiar, start there and work outwards I guess?

Why doesn't contact follow the weird emphasis rule like other words? Like something can get smaller and contract, or you can sign a contract. Or you get a permit to show some authority permits you to do something. But you can totally contact a contact.

Do people frequently no-show for dental appointments? I've got a cleaning scheduled today, and in the past few days I got 4 emails and 3 texts of varying levels of desperation basically begging me to remember to show up or call if I have to cancel. I replied to the first one. Is this a real issue?

Pet peeve - devices with inscrutable sleep timers. If I leave the room to grab coffee and a snack, this game controller may power down on me if I'm too slow. Meanwhile, I just had a shower and toothbrushing and morning routine, and the dumb thing stayed on the whole time and is crying low battery.

How do you dry off with a towel? Seems like one of those things where half of people do it in a way the other half will find shocking and nonsensical. Is there a "best" way? Does the US military have a field manual about it? I'll bet if anyone's done research, that's where to find it

I'm not particularly strong or athletic, but I put my socks on standing up. Someday I may fall over, but not today.

I just got a bit of popcorn kernel stuck in my gums. I located it with my tongue, then put my finger DIRECTLY on it, in the exact spot my tongue was telling me to go. Got the kernel out first try. So yeah, I guess I have super powers now.

Golden Brownie behaves like Peavey Classic 30 gain, but "more." Went back to a Danelctro delay because it was smoother. Overdrive with gain at 0 to act as a volume boost. I use an IR pedal to send FoH a direct signal.
