I couldn't get certain art projects working the way I wanted. So I decided to do a bit of a reset and do a complete different style and feel for this piece. And I'm so glad I did because I got some good fun practice in for the flowers, colours and composition ^^

s'funny how his character started out super stoic and masculine... and while he still stays true to that to some degree - i just adore how he's become more and more comfortable with being feminine and dainty, loving it even.

Today my team and I got told that we were made redundant, not gonna go into specifics.

Here's some of my work:
Fan art of the character The Curator from the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It is a very dimly lit scene, making the hollowed face blend seamlessly into the darkness of the rest of the scene. There's a tattered halo around it and some rose petals A concept of a book cover with an illustration of a girl sitting at a bus stop, while casually tapping into the power from the power generator to charge her phone. In the background, there's a silhouette of giant teeth looming over her and the stop. At the top of the illustration is the title Void state written and underneath that by Anchimayen in smaller letters Spider-Punk character leaping over a building, planting his hand on the edge of the structure to steer a bit and gently push himself into his next web swing. exploration on my oc Aka's design ✂️🐯

since childhood, she has dealt with trauma through escapism, creating a fantastical world she immerses herself in through substances.
This would be a draft of what she looks like in that world - very much her cute aesthetic, but with nods to her darker reality.
a rough reference sheet of my character Aka. She is in a frilly light pink dress with a darker pink corset-type overcoat and belts on top. She wears blue and yellow socks with pink loafers, and her long white hair is flowing freely, two little sections put up in pigtails with blue and yellow bows. On her hip is a cute orange tiger pouch. She displays two different weapons - a pillcutter and a boxcutter, referencing her real life struggle with self harm and addiction. There is also a lock around her neck, referencing her feeling trapped. Lastly, there are multiple eyes in blue and yellow scattered around her wear, a nod to social anxiety and the experimentation she was subject to as a child - ie, the source of all her mental problems.
