New episode up now. I set out to understand how and why Ezra Pound's final published poem ended up in an obscure magazine in Buffalo. The whole story was bigger and weirder than I could have imagined. open.substack.com/pub/aidanmry...

Why did some of Ezra Pound's final cantos first appear in print in Buffalo (a full year BEFORE the unauthorized Ed Sanders Fuck You Press publication)? Why did this happen twice, in TWO of Buffalo's little magazines? I'll be trying to sort this out on my Substack in the weeks ahead. Follow along.

Deeply grateful for this review from John Haber, who launched the first website for art criticism and history right around the time Cindy gave up her studio. Here he gives her some of the context she was missing then, comparing her work to Arshile Gorky.
