🎧 What to do in times of democracy decline?
Mainstream narratives focus so narrowly on the rise of the far right, yet reality is more fluid. There’s still plenty of room for political dialogue and collective action. Not easy, but worth trying! We talk about this @unrisd.org 👇
🎧 New Episode: #BacklashUnfiltered feat. Yanina Welp. We explore civic resistance, new forms of participation, and movements reshaping democracy. From Chile to beyond, discover how people are reclaiming rights & inclusion.

Imperdible 👇 rb.gy/zwzwud

We often get Citizens’ Assemblies backwards. Don't fit a problem to an institution. Instead:
☑️Define the problem.
☑️Assess strengths & weaknesses.
☑️Choose the right participatory tool.

Align resources with the problem, not the other way around.

I've lived in Europe for + 20 years. It’s either extremely difficult to get political rights (Switzerland), or theoretically easy but practically blocked by administrative obstacles (Spain).

Today I exercised my voting right for the Argentine elections, voting from Barcelona. Mixed feelings.
