I switched phones recently from iPhone to Pixel (Android). And the most irritating aspect of it is that I can't wholesale transfer the one time password settings from Microsoft Authenticator on the iPhone to the android. I have like fifteen OTPs and have to reestablish one by one on the new phone

My daughter mentioned to me that she has recurring nightmares about active shooter drills becoming real.
She mentioned it must be like the nuclear duck and cover drills we did in the 80s. I explained the difference is we didn't have nuclear bombs dropping every other day so it wasnt real to us.

i don't think this is even a real statistical anomaly anymore. it seems like there's someone in the crowd at every mass shooting who has been through it before. this doesn't have to be our shared cultural experience.

Thank you joy because we all see this buffoon for what he is. He wasn't even a good sports analyst. He was just loud wrong and obnoxious. And that is exactly why he's getting paid to be a racist mouthpiece that they get to say "well it was a Black guy who said it"

They just want to go back to simpler times where people who didn't fit in with their standards were locked up in passed cells and given shock therapy
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

Finally fired up Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Wolverine is my favorite character so far. He literally will jump on a guy slice him up with his claws and throw him across the screen. Paired with Captain America as my favorite team. It reminds me of X-Men Arcade and Captain America and the Avengers.

Got a rejection letter that was so generic, they addressed it to someone else. Funniest thing. I hadn't actually applied for a specific job. Had just been talking with one of their officers. I think the random letter from some recruiter I never interacted with was more insulting than being ghosted.

This just in, the US Department of Agriculture has updated its website to state that there is no evidence that water makes plants grow and is proposing a study to begin hydrating crops with Brawndo because it has what plants crave.
