Calgorithm Blueskyers, we are amid a rabid donation campaign to Ron Rivera and Justin Wilcox's discretionary fund and have pledged over $13000 in a little under a day, with the aim of $25000, which would guarantee program acknowledgment.

Can you help?

No worries; it's just a common point of discussion among many - the reply can feel targeted but it is addressing the sentiment on my end.

Thank you Calgorithm BlueSkyers, continue to spread the glory and splendor 🫡

I will see you soon.
no judgement on my end, apologies if it came across that way

That's right, Ms. Lapachet. 🫡
Just like Nando and Jayden, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. I've been a Cal fan long enough to know nothing is forever. And boring would that be if it was?

I'm not gonna get pulled into this each time - there is a practical and cultural value (unfortunately) to staying on Twitter and we will continue to conduct operations there too. I am not knocking any of your choices. Please respect what ours. All the platforms matter.

This is why I came to BlueSky to check how Cal fans were feeling.

On Twitter I am working on -- as much as I can -- generating buzz, keeping people afloat, and coming to support this thing. And to not be scared in this way. We can achieve a lot.
Ok. Just got around to watching the game. Now I get it. By halftime i was already worrying about who was going to come for him with the bag this winter.

I know the BlueSky culture is going to develop on its own and I'm not tapped in here but I hope we all find it in us to enjoy this, and support it fully. We're about to do something special.
So, did everyone have a good time watching the California Golden Bears?

if you want to purchase a copy of Calgorithm, Vol. 1, it releases 8/23; you can get one by venmo at aguynamednam:
$10 - PDF
$25 - Physical; pick it up at the launch party or the tailgate at homegames. I can also ship.

Proceeds go back toward the community fund for tickets. I'm not profiting.

Last fall, ESPN's Bill Connelly asked me to talk about fandom in this new realignment era for his upcoming book, "Forward Progress: The Definitive Guide to the Future of College Football". The Calgorithm story is a chunk of chapter 9, which I am excerpting with his blessing.

Hope I did us proud.
