Ok I’m back. It’s been a while on here. Highly recommended The Lyrical Language Lab by @reneemlatulippe.bsky.social It’s elevated my understanding of rhythmic writing and analysis of the genre too.

I had a big goal last year. It was to be accepted into an art gallery. It happened this month. I was voted into an artist run gallery in Prince Edward County, Ont. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that people whose work I admire felt that my work has a place among theirs.

This weekend I ran a webcast for almost 500 people in healthcare. As conference coordinator, it was months in the making. It was a fake it till you make it situation and I made it!!

I don’t know why this year is different so far but it feels calmer. I’m still balancing and juggling more than I’d like but for some reason I’m not as overwhelmed. And I’m full of ideas. I’m hoping these will translate to my writing. What do you do to keep your writing flowing?

Even though I was too late to officially join @taralazar.bsky.social ‘s #storystorm this year, I decided to follow along and try to generate some ideas. It’s been tremendous!! I can’t wait to start working on some new material now.
