Tomorrow is my 74th birthday. I never expected to live this long, especially after open heart surgery, 20 years ago. I will spend the morning working at the local food bank and then I’ll take my dogs for a hike (weather permitting). I’m kind of over birthday celebrations.

It has been my tradition, like many Jews, to go to a #movie on Christmas Day and then get Chinese food for dinner. But this year, there is nothing playing in my town worth spending the time and $$ to see. It’s been that way all year, with the exception of “Sinners”.

Why does no one question why health insurance premiums are so ridiculously high? The insurance companies are making $$ hand over fist, and rather than fighting the excessive premiums, Congress accepts them and wants to subsidize them. This was the flaw in the ACA to begin with.

#F1theMovie is just terrible. Performances are wooden, with the exception of Barden, too many stereotypes, racing was an exaggerated mess compared to watching an actual race. I won’t go on. I’m glad I waited until I could stream for free, I would be pissed to have paid $15 to see it in a theater.
