Communication for deep tech startups is tricky. The standard advice is to abstract away the technical details and focus on customer problems.

But in deep tech, that’s easier said than done. And even when it’s possible, it’s often not enough.

So, I won’t be able to write anything serious for the Aggie Inc. Substack this week. I’ve gone into focus mode. In the meantime, here are some things I’ve been enjoying recently, if you’re looking for inspiration.

What about you?

I had a dream where for one reason or another, I was given the task of finding a particular address in a phone book. In the dream, I thought it was the funniest thing ever, but I didn’t have anyone around who I could share the joke with.

I'm doing more recordings these days and think it's time to invest in a new mic. Any suggestions for a good podcasting mic?

One of the best things about being a solopreneur in 2025 is the sheer number of tools and apps you can use to be productive without hiring more people.

In this post, I wanted to highlight some of my favourite ones!

We still have our dvd player hooked up. When we’re feeling nostalgic, we go down to the local library and rent out some dvds for an old-fashioned movie night 🍿

At some point, a business needs to hire or outsource some of the work.

But what work do I outsource, and how do I explain to the other person what to do and how to do it?

I know how to do everything, but do I know how to teach it?
