I think my favorite gag in any Paper Mario game is the black chests saying they won't curse you, then calling you a dumbass when you open them, and then giving you an ability to progress. It's so fucking funny.

To add onto this, I also just used Vivian 'cause I thought her action commands were the most fun. Sucks that she has two moves that are real bad, but Shade Fist and Fiery Jinx are real fun.
Same reason I pretty much only used hammers and stuck with Hammerman after I got Hammer Throw. Shit is gas.

Great game!! Didn't really get too emotional or invested in the story outside of pretty much only using Vivian to get as much Vivian dialogue as possible. I like Vivian a lot. Wish she wasn't trapped in Paper Mario purgatory forever.

This made me realize number ratings are weird. If 5/10 is average overall, like a bell curve, then this is a 5/10. But if we're on a scale of good -> bad, then this is, like, a 6.5/10.
Though, if you ever see me give a number rating, it's the latter. I ain't read enough yuri to know the average.

Really tempted to delete the media thread and quickly redo it just to put a different song on there. I like the animation for the opening way more, but the ending music is just way better in my opinion.

This is the genre of manga where, whenever I think about it, I get sad. Skimming through it to get some of the funny and cute drawings got me feeling sad and depressed.
Also, side-note, this manga just spawned in my "Plan to Read" section. I have no idea how I found this.

I love the art style!! Aside from that, while part of me wishes it was longer, the progression from each chapter is really well done, so it's hard to want more when it's wrapped up so nicely. And, while I didn't cry, I came closer than most manga, despite the short length.

I never get the criticism when someone says something feels written for the sake of making the reader sad. Like... yeah? That's how writing works. If your response to a story made to be sad is that it feels crafted in a way to make the reader sad, that's not a criticism. That's called good writing.

I was going for more DDD copies, so it's not the end of the world that I lost the 75/25, but it does kind of suck. Aglaea would've loved her signature.

I waited because I wanted to watch "This Monster Wants to Eat Me" and use that video, but I just started the first episode and I don't vibe with the intro enough to want to hear it every time I look at my homepage for a year.

I only realized in the anime of "This Monster Wants to Eat Me" that they talked about stuff they definitely SHOULDN'T have been talking about there.
Guess having voice acting and detailed backgrounds, as well as lingering on shots more makes one notice it more.

I forgot about the $20 Uma Selector that'll release in March and spent all my Carats trying (and failing) to get Tamamo Cross and Fine Motion when I can get those on the selector, while I CAN'T get Valentine Mihono Bourbon. I feel like a fool.
