This article from @nature.com has an interesting perspective- worth reading especially now as people consider Watson’s legacy. He was an intensely unlikable fellow who, along with Crick and Rosalind Franklin, made a world-changing discovery.🧪

The structure of the mammalian bornavirus polymerase complex - Nature Communications
Borna disease virus 1 replicates and transcribes its negative sense RNA genome in the nucleus of infected cells. Here, the authors present the cryoEM structures of the large polymerase protein in complex with the tetrameric phosphoprotein, revealing the structural features that govern its activity.
