I love the 6502. You can just look at the code and understand it. (Except for all the weird branching modes, but that's it's own thing)
And hooking it up to hardware? Slap a buffer between it and your other chips and it'll just talk to them. To the 6502, everything is a memory location.

For a private project, I am looking for a simple server-side rendering framework for Java based websites.
I started using angular, but every time I work on it, I spend most of the time updating things and not on real progress.... so I want to reduce complexity to work on what matters... any ideas?
