Spent all afternoon yesterday adding the RC-505mkii to my setup. Took longer because I physically moved my mixer. So I had to unplug everything and figure out where to route the cables. Still need to sync MIDI of which I have zero experience. And I think I need 1 MIDI to micro MIDI adapter. 🤞🏻🫩

I was PA. I was the reported voices and I worked the strobe and the Sindey Sweeney joke was all me. So proud of my friend.

Sometimes you go all out and it’s just a bust. This is a Halloween Party in ‘23. The bar did a whole spread. I brought two extra Subs and setup a camera for the costumed guests. There was a cash prize for the contest. Total epic fail. Like 5 people showed. Sometimes these things happen.

Outdoors are fun. Always shade your gear and remember ants and mosquitos love music too. Also. I’d recommend projectors over TV’s. The photo is inside on economy which I think is 300 lumen. Close distance with a screen can work if shaded. Keep the generator as far away as possible. Noise/emissions.

Every venue is unique. There is no perfect setup. Start with good speakers and you’ll be fine. Power outlets and seating will often leave you little to work with so don’t forget your Gaffers tape.

Love gear. Love swapping and building new setups. Remember a Furman Power conditioner for every 8 power cords. And a Tascam TA-1VP for every microphone. Ground Hum and cheap mics are easily remedied. And don’t mess with unbalanced (RCA) if possible.
