The weighing on that Day will be just. As for those whose scale will be heavy with good deeds, only they will be successful.

So, surely with hardship comes ease. Surely with that hardship comes more ease.

Now that I'm working on this app, I just remembered the following verse and it gives it a whole new meaning.

"We have created you in pairs, and made your sleep for rest, and made the night as a cover and made the day for livelihood."

Surah An-Naba (The Tidings), verses 8 to 11.

This verse touched my heart yesterday.

He knows what is in the land and sea. Not even a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth or anything, green or dry, but is written in a perfect Record.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

Lessons I learned from Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle) today

Be humble by:
1. Knowing who you are
2. Recognising your strengths and weaknesses
3. Understanding your purpose in life

Whilst cross stitching, I have been listening to @DrHaifaaYounis lectures on Youtube. I really like her style of teaching, there is light humour, real life examples and I have learned quite a lot from these videos.

As-Samīʿ — The All-Hearing (ٱلسَّمِيع)

🔹 Root meaning: From the root س-م-ع, to hear, listen attentively, accept, understand.

🔹 Mentioned 45 times in the Qur’an.

🔹 Recited in prayer when rising from Rukūʿ:

“Samiʿa Allāhu liman ḥamidah” which means Allah hears the one who praises Him.

I realised I’ve been meeting and speaking to Allah five times a day but I don’t truly know Him.

What I know feels surface-level but I want to develop a deeper connection. I want to fall in love with Allah again.
