I've had some time to adjust to the new Telegram UI and process what I think about it.

Pro: Moving from the blocked, Metro UI design language to Liquid Glass is good. It feels consistent with other apps, and visual elements have clear intent.

We've transcended from "em dashes mean an LLM wrote it" to "good prose means an LLM wrote it" because we've stopped teaching people how to write grammatically correct sentences.

The Telegram UI design is breaking my brain and feels like a really bad design. I'm trying to give myself a few hours to adjust tho in case I'm just biased because it's different. Later I might post some things that feel objectively wrong tho.

As much as I love Debian, I may need to switch to something else soon. The several-year lag on updating software packages is becoming a problem, and if I have to manually install everything to be remotely current, then I may as well use something else. Thinking maybe Fedora? TBD

Just remembered Aladdin's Cave of Wonders.
