Various life updates since I keep doing things instead of scrolling lol. Bf finally had his surgery and is feeling wildly better. I got older 10 days ago (39 now, yikes). And he has a follow-up appt Friday so we'll probably be in Seattle a couple days for the first healthy time in many years

Hit the credits of ZA. The only non-freebie shiny I saw was literally trash (Trubbish) and I "only" need 750 more trainer battles for the charm lol

Pokemon Z-A thoughts so far: Yet undecided how I feel about the battle system. If Taunie doesn't stop invisible walling me every time I try to go grab an item, I'm feeding her to Totodile. Begging for a "shut the hell up and let me explore" toggle in settings.

I started playing coral island despite knowing ever since harvest moon 64 that sometimes this genre will consume me for a week or two but anyway the main thing we've learned so far is I cannot be trusted to name things

Bf's had some medical issues and they had tried to refer to ohsu (way closer!) but no capacity so UW instead (that's a drive). But I suppose that's an excuse to actually go stay up in Seattle a couple days next month for the first time since uh... 2016 lol

Genuinely becoming a little impressed with Amazon's ability to fuck up this delivery. It takes dedication to failure to not make it 45 fucking minutes away for multiple consecutive days. But they say I can have a refund if they fail to do the bare minimum for two more days, what service!
