Been getting a lot of people asking about LA geography concerned that the images they see means the entire county is on fire. That's understandable.

But LA is a big place. So, to give an idea of scale it's time to cart this out again. It's a map of LA with other cities superimposed on it.

I just traveled from LA, where Doctor Who airs at 10.30am, to Sydney, where Doctor Who airs at 5.30am.
I am jet lagged, with a headache, and generally out of it...but you can bet I'll be waking up at the ass-crack of dawn to watch my favourite show

I am so shocked at myself - I have not finished anything on the in flight entertainment for this flight.
I watched the first 20ish minutes of frozen with dinner, 10 minutes of an episode of the last of us and one episode of doctor who AND THAT'S IT

This week has had some wild positives, some intense anxiety (no change there) and the usual struggles with my own insecurities and depression. Feels important to acknowledge it all, even in this small way.
I'm very glad to be heading home 😊

If I've learned anything from rom-coms, it's that anyone going on a long haul flight can look forward to a potential star-crossed love interaction that changes their life.
...what are the chances for me tonight, I wonder...?
