Despite my age, I don't really feel old. This is partly helped by my good perception of time, I think. Whenever those '[name of console] came out XX years ago!' posts come up, I think "Ha! Your feeble attempts to make me feel old hath no dominion upon me!", as I'm not really surprised.

After thinking about it for a while, I decided to get a NeGcon!
For those unaware, it's a third-party controller by Namco that's twistable on both sides. It's primarily for steering in racing games.
I'll have to give it a shot soon!

It's time for another JP PS1 game. Here's another Tetris game I own; Magical Tetris Challenge.
As you can probably tell, it's Disney-themed, and features some of the more well-known characters. It also has some unique mechanics (including giant Tetriminos!).

Arcania has some great luck with treasure maps lately. Last week, she had two dungeons clears, and some nice streaks with the gambling part...and this week was more of the same. On top of that, every single map she opened had a portal!

I've finally got around to Control, after getting it for free on Epic ages ago (during one of the many times they've gave it away). I'm enjoying it so far. Some very intriguing story/world aspects, and the combat is pretty nice (love the telekinesis power!).

I've finally got around to Control, after getting it for free on Epic ages ago (during one of the many times they've gave it away). I'm enjoying it so far. Some very intriguing story/world aspects, and the combat is pretty nice (love the telekinesis power!).

In late November, I visited ArCains in Liverpool with my brother and one of my nephews. It was a late birthday outing, as I turned 40 last year!.
I had a great time there! Plenty of machines available; both new and classic. They even had some modern and retro consoles. Definitely worth the visit!

While I'm just as capable as being down as the next person, one thing always sticks with me; keeping a positive mindset. It won't solve everything, but it'll make it easier to get through life. If you keep living expecting the worst of everything (even GOOD news), then you won't be a happy person.

Fun fact about Arcania; ever since her black mage days, she's used a very weak fire spell to keep herself warm in any climate. It means she can easily brave the harsh weather in Coerthas while still slaying in her favourite skirts!
