We marched with and for families today to protest the cuts to the ASGSF. It was a really well organised and moving event.The support fund is a lifeline for so many and cutting it does not make economic or moral sense. Thank you @asgsfprotest.bsky.social

The government has just announced £50M in funding for the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund for 2025/26. We are yet to hear details of how and when this will be allocated. Our campaign to secure the ASGSF on a permanent basis continues.

Thanks @munirawilson.bsky.social for asking the Prime Minister if he will confirm the future of the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund as thousands of families wait anxiously. We are disappointed by an answer that confuses rather than clarified @janetdaby.bsky.social
Very disappointing that the Prime Minister refused to confirm whether vulnerable children and their carers will continue to get the support they need through the Adoption & Special Guardianship Support Fund, which is due to end next week.
