Lecturer at the Sociology and Criminology Dept at the University of Essex. Author of Walking Together: Central Americans and Transit Migration through Mexico (2023). Ethnographer. Social ties, solidarity, trust, the climate crisis, and migration.
Today I taught a seminar where we discussed the concept of climate mobilities (suggested by Ingrid Boas et al) and how it helps us see the many different reactions and resistances to the effects of the climate crisis from the perspective of the communities. It ties well with our research in Mexico.
