Gonna make a thread of my other attacks now that Artfight has more or less concluded.
Finished spriting my sillies. The lineup was stuck at 6 bosses for a while until I found some ways to close the weakness chain.
Not every design is perfect, but they're consistent and help each other stand out. They're all NES accurate too (though Drain Man would flicker a little).

Once in a while I remake MM (fangame) tilesets, for fun. Glue Man's stage is already close to NES limitations, so accuracy didn't pose much of an issue. Just polished it up. Exploring palette-switching for the background and working in one color was a nice exercise.

Once in a while I remake MM (fangame) tilesets, for fun. Glue Man's stage is already close to NES limitations, so accuracy didn't pose much of an issue. Just polished it up. Exploring palette-switching for the background and working in one color was a nice exercise.

In all my old versions of this goober, I realize I've made him large and buff for no particular reason. So I returned to my interpretation from a character design lens and ramped up the "space Squidward fisherman".
I still have that Old Fingerhead T-shirt, need to wear it more often.
