I discovered a little plaque to a notable alumnus.
Ole Rømer demonstrated light travels at finite speed, and invented a new thermometer attuned to water (freezing and boiling points).
It’s humbling sometimes to work at the same institution as such scientists.

I like to understand my environment. In this park, for example, you can’t cycle, play golf with a tennis ball or a football, grill or listen to the radio, swing from a tree like a monkey in winter, carry flowers, or be a dog

Sad day today, as we bid farewell to my daughter’s playhouse ‘Noll Slumbrs.’
She decorated it with her 4 year old’s handprints, with her little table, chairs, flower carpet, strawberry pots and butterfly decorations 👐🦋
Still, the place will keep its name, and become her vegetable garden 🪴👩🌾

Every year, we book a day of brilliant sunshine in May to take our ‘Fra Vandbasis til Svømning’ (from water basis to swimming) bachelors students to Amager strandpark to try out some new skills!
