As if there's anything of value to get from software that cant even figure out where a light source is and as if there arent *thousands* of artists to learn rendering from.

I think it's important for the health and wellbeing of the art community to learn to identify and shun the use of AI in our spaces. It makes us suspicious and untrusting of the people we follow and it sucks the enjoyment out of a hobby we all participate in as consumers and creators.

Been banging this drum for a year or so. We’re in a global recession and AI speculation shit messing with economic data and the defunding of agencies and the news being utterly dominated by US madness are hiding it from view
It's amazing how so many pundits and economists are so ready to explain that we're definitely not in a recession when I have never known so many of my peers and loved ones to be simultaneously underemployed and financially struggling as I do right now

i managed to Not Hurt Quite So Much long enough to draw something (very quickly) after several days, but unfortunately for everyone: it's just synthi doing the usual
(i think i may have figured out something about *some* of this pain though and if i'm right i'm going to be. very angry at myself)
