This magazine is 29 years old today—though perhaps Metallica’s mascara-laced Anton Corbijn period has aged like a tall glass of eggnog, an editorial depicting the (then) rising, shadowy, evangelical right’s fight against womens’ right to choose could’ve been published this morning.

true joy to be on spinning rock simultaneously to Alex G whose continued harmonic and groove adventures make up some of the singularly most compelling popular music of the last 8 years imho---the keys lead in this sounds like walk of life by dire straits which i think is a very good song

happy 15th 'just got back,' sometimes I have a tough time living in yr shadow. if there's one thing i wish young Brave Little Aba-Fans could take away: 3 kids crafted it completely untethered from marketing/pursuit of audience. its naivete is a strength. proud that it passes tests of time.
