Anyone know why VPN apps are jumping in the US? Usually this only happens where something is being banned. 6 of the top 20 apps are VPNs in the US iOS App Store right now. Never seen anything like that for the US. 2 in the top 5.

Apptopia likes to look at Sessions of Uber Driver and Lyft Driver to get an indication of business activity. The idea is if they're opening the app, they're about to do a job. In Q425, Uber Driver's dominant market share in this metric has dropped to 82.7%, its lowest point since Q223. #$UBER #$LYFT

TikTok had negative YoY DAU growth in the US every month of 2025. Churned users are also reducing time spent on Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook. They now spend more time in apps like Pluto TV, YouTube Kids, DraftKings Casino, and BetMGM Casino. apptopia.com/en/blog/tikt...

Heavy GenAI users saw a significant decrease in time spent on mobile browsers (search) until AI Mode was pushed out to Google apps in Q3. Since then there was a rebound in time spent on mobile browsers. Maybe Google's changes in AI Mode satisfied Heavy users of GenAI, changing their behavior.
