Just a reminder with the holiday season approaching: If you offer someone a drink and they say, "No thanks, I don't drink" the correct response is not, "Why not?" or "Come on, just one!" or anything else like that. The only correct response is, "No worries. Can I get you anything else?"

Why do people make up shit about people? Some arsehole tweeted that I wouldn’t give scientific advice to the new govt (as if they would ask, LOL) and it’s just reinforced a bunch of people’s misperception that my pandemic advice was politically motivated as opposed to just not wanting people to die
