A current DHS agent said about the language Trump and Homeland Security were using absolving agents and vilifying Pretti that he "no longer believed any of the statements they put out anymore". Another said, "We lost all trust. I am not sure...how we can exist three years from now".

We only know the truth of all the abuse and unlawful behavior going on in the Trump administration immigration operations because of the brave citizens who risk their life and limb by following and filming the agents in the operations.

Congressional Democrats should feel free to refuse to support the government funding bill if it includes its current re-funding and expansion of DHS, unless new safeguards are are imposed on use of force and clear agent identification. They won't be blamed for any shutdown but thanked.

State officials in MN are reacting nimbly now to the attempts of the Trump administration to falsify what happened in the killings of American citizens in Minneapolis. They got a judicial search warrant to examine the scene and a judge's ruling that the feds must preserve all the evidence.
