The biggest morale boost from today's visit to the Fantasy exhibition at the British Library was the realisation that not even @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com can keep straight lines of text in a note book. That's helped with the imposter syndrome!

It's been raining all day. As much as I love the sound and the smell of the rain, the #chronicillness I have do not.
Today has been very frustrating for the #author in me to not get anything done, but maybe it's a sign that I just need today to bed a rest day. The stories will still be waiting.

I'm looking forward to getting a proper writing space this weekend. I won't be able to appreciate it until next week, as I will be away, but I'm thinking - new writing space, new writing routine, and hopefully more output.

Progress today is telling myself that:
I'm moving at my own pace, and that's ok.
My first novel has been out for a year, and since then, life got in the way.
Not every writer has to write every day. Progress looks different for us all.
