Covering the Green Bay Packers for CheeseheadTV, Zone Coverage, and Cheeseheads Brazil.
The #Packers have held opponents to 20 or fewer points in 8 of their 11 games this year.

Jeff Hafley is going to be an NFL head coach very soon, deservingly so, and it sucks to think about losing him.

Rashan Gary is up to 7.5 sacks this season.

He had 7.5 sacks in 17 games last year.

After eight weeks, Packers QB Jordan Love ranks:

(Prior to MNF) (Min of 50 plays)

1st in EPA/play
2nd in total EPA
3rd in passing EPA
6th in success rate
6th in completion rate
9th in passing yards

Toyotathon hasn’t even started yet.

Quay Walker is only 17th among LBs in pass rush attempts, yet he is third in pass rush win rate among those with at least 15 attempts + 2nd in QB hits and 4th in sacks.

Kenny Clark had 33 pressures last year, second only to Rashan Gary, who led the Packers with 47.

Micah Parsons already has 37 pressures this season, and it’s not even Week 8 yet.

(I’m back 😁)

Total pressures allowed by the Packers OL:

Weeks 2–4: 44
Weeks 1, 6, and 7: 18

Guess who played just one snap in that Week 2–4 stretch? Zach Tom.

We can argue whether he’s the best player on offense, but he’s probably the most important one (QB aside).

Back in 1993, the Packers landed Reggie White on a four-year, $17 million deal.

Now, three decades later, Micah Parsons is getting $188 million across four years.

What used to cost around $4 million a season now comes with a $47 million price tag.

Since 2006, only two Packers OTs have recorded both an 80.0+ pass-blocking and run-blocking grade in a single season:

1-David Bakhtiari (2020)
2-Zach Tom (2024)

Among WRs with at least 50 targets last year, Jayden Reed ranked:

1st in passer rating when targeted (137.5)
Tied for 2nd in drops (10)

In Brazil, we say “8 or 80” when someone goes from one extreme to the other with no middle ground at all. That was exactly 2024 Jayden Reed.

The last time the Packers played a Week 1 game at Lambeau, Jordan Love was a sophomore at Utah State.

The Packers have a 6-foot-9 punter attending their rookie minicamp.

Packers 7th-round pick John Williams' stats over the last two years at Cincinnati:

874 pass-blocking snaps
3 sacks allowed
99.8 pass-blocking efficiency
0 sacks allowed on true pass sets (251 pass-blocking snaps)

I’m a little surprised the Packers haven’t done anything about IDL yet.

Clark turns 30 in October and has a $31M cap hit in 2026. Wyatt is in the last year of his rookie deal, and has 10 sacks in three seasons.

No guarantee either of them is on the roster after 2025.

Jordan Morgan, you 🫵 are a future G.

Day 2 should say a lot about how high the Packers are on Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox Jr.

Trey Amos no matter what.

The long-term outlook of the #Packers wide receiver position makes drafting a first-round wideout this year more logical than in any year since Brian Gutekunst took over as GM.
