One question. Not a riddle. Not a monologue. Just ONE question.

Ever seen a #moderator ask a question so long the speaker forgets what it was?

When you overload a question, you overload your speaker.
All are confused, the audience too.

Cue the vague answer, long pause, glazed-over audience...

Try this instead:
“What’s the biggest AI misconception you hear that drives you crazy?” Now we’re talking.

There’s messing up, then there’s mispronouncing your speaker’s name in front of six cameras and a global audience.

Best move? A quick, light correction.
The real pro move? Prevent it.

As a #moderator, your job doesn’t start on #stage. It starts before it. Set expectations. Brief speakers properly.
Make it clear: I will interrupt if needed ;-)

Because the stage is not where you fix things. It’s where your prep pays off.
