One of the biggest worries wheelchair users have is whether or not their wheelchairs will be damaged by the airline. It’s a legitimate worry! The results of a US DOT report suggest that 15,425 wheelchairs or scooters have been lost or damaged since 2018.
Here are some tips:

1. Gate check your wheelchair Label with name, phone number, address, and instructions. This week, I am turning 30 years old. Out of all of my dream jobs, I never expected travel agent. Before I became sick with long-COVID and could no longer work most of those “dream” jobs, it simply wasn’t on my radar. I am so glad I did it!
