Oh, but, recently, I found my Philips CDI player. I have precisely one movie to watch on it, and far too many digital encyclopedias. I'm excited.

Mostly I like computers. The old ones are wonderful. I wish I knew more about them, but it turns out that I am frugal and lazy. It's cruel.

On this day in 2002, 22 years ago, Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire were first released.

These games started the third generation and introduced 135 new Pokémon. It told the story of you stopping Team Aqua or Team Magma

The "first hypermedia PC", the Tulip Universa took cues from the Classic Mac, but included features Apple never did - such as an IR remote, allowing users to view their photo CDs from the comfort of a chair up to about four yards away (six yards in even lighting). (Source.)

I went to karaoke recently and sang a bunch of Vocaloid songs. It reminded me how Miku was a huge part of my teenage years.

Fui pro karaoke e cantei um monte de músicas de Vocaloid. Me lembrou como a Miku foi muito especial na minha adolescência.

One of the most obscure computers I have ever looked up, the Gradiente Expert was a MSX computer for the Brasilian market; a reissue of the National CF-3000 for the Japanese market, styled like a contemporary audio box, cheaper than a C64 but hampered by an incomplete MSX implementation.
