For whatever reason, Travis Strikes Again drifted into my mind as I was going to bed last night. I was just thinking about how much I loved that game. Turns out it came out exactly today, exactly five years ago! Crazy!

A while back, I got Disco Elysium for my mom, and she's been enjoying it, haha. It's been very fun having her come to me and update me on her progress. She'll say things like, "I pulled a gun on the union guys, and they shot me to death" or "some kid called me a homophobic slur!"

Evergrace might be the single most interesting work of human art ever created. Why does it look like that? Why does it play like that? Why does it SOUND like that? It feels like a game made by some unknown culture from another dimension that somehow slipped into our world. It is fiercely original.

I am so obsessed with F&H: Termina. I've long past the point where games typically surprise me anymore, yet somehow this game keeps fucking doing it. It's managed to rekindle that paranoia in me that you can only feel when unfamiliar with the limitations of games.

Whatever happened to games opening with sick music video intros? Seems so rare now. I couldn't even tell you how many times I've watched the Silent Hill intros, or like the openings for any PS2 era Megaten game... The Armored Core intros... Ridge Racer: Type 4... All so kino...

These brief weeks of cold weather always feel so special. It's only cold for a short time here, but it's always my favorite part of the year. Something about the way the air feels and the sky looks. Reality feels heightened.

Finally picked up black nail polish, lipstick, and eyeliner after years of not having enough confidence to wear em. NO SURPRISE it looks sick. Now all I need is some piercings and my transformation will be complete.

Y'know, if there's one big disappointment I have with AC6, it's gotta be its soundtrack. Like, there are a few hype tracks in the very last 5% of the game, but everything leading up to them is SO unbelievably fucking boring.

Guuuuuuuuhhhh it's SO humid today. It doesn't matter how good you look leaving the sweet protection of air conditioning, you take one step outside: pits - sweaty, hair gel - melted, ass - swampy, hair - blown away by wind gusting 32kts. I HATE LIVING IN FUCKING FLORIDA.
