My country isn't perfect but it feels like we are living in the apartment above the meth lab.
What I also noticed is how everyone in Canada were running around like their hair was on fire and the media in the US was treating it with a big yawn and covering how it may cause some hardship to Americans. We won't forget this.

What I learned from Trump starting a trade war is how arrogant some Americans are with no empathy. They believe the suffering of others is a win. Shameful. Look to see what great presidents of the past had to say about the need for allies and good trade partners.

I now see the end goal. Can you?

JD Vance just tweeted - "Spare me the sob story about how Canada is our “best friend.” I love Canada and have many Canadian friends. But is the government meeting their NATO target for military spending? Are they stopping the flow of drugs into our country? I’m sick of being taken advantage of."

To our friends in America, Trump told us back in 2020 about the USMCA - "The USMCA is the fairest, most balanced, and beneficial trade agreement we have ever signed into law. It’s the best agreement we’ve ever made, and we have others coming." Your new position on trade doesn't make sense.

Trump told us back in 2020 about the USMCA - "The USMCA is the fairest, most balanced, and beneficial trade agreement we have ever signed into law. It’s the best agreement we’ve ever made, and we have others coming." Why is no one talking about this?

Trump 2020 - "So we have negotiated this new agreement [USMCA] based on the principle of fairness and reciprocity - to me it's the most important world in trade, because we've been treated so unfairly by so many nations all over the world." Was he wrong?

Hey Americans, did you know that the world thinks you are the bad guys? You used to have allies but those bridges are all on fire.

Trump says he doesn't need Canada anymore. Not our lumber, not our oil. Nothing that we produce. Can you tell me why the country that I felt the most in common with is now my economic enemy.

Trump told us back in 2020 about the USMCA - "The USMCA is the fairest, most balanced, and beneficial trade agreement we have ever signed into law. It’s the best agreement we’ve ever made, and we have others coming." He needs to go away.

A note to all Americans - It is too late, the trust is gone and it is not coming back for a long time. Your orange king has declared economic war on the world and we are ALL here for the fight. Even if we lose I hope the pain you all suffer reminds you all why you are so hated by the world.

A doctor from Canada spent some time pointing some of the differences between Canada and the US. It is why very few in Canada want to relinquish our sovereignty.

- We love our country, just you like you love yours. Things can always be better, but this will always be our home and native land.

Hey Donald, why don't you come up to Canada for a visit and see how that works out for you?
January 9, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Please, would someone take the idiot out already. No one wants to listen to his bullshit anymore.

Why is no one in the media calling out Trump for his ridiculous rambling in his press conference yesterday. Stupid Idea after stupid idea backed up by lies and incoherence. Someone in his inner circle needs to end this insanity. The world would be very grateful.

Elon Musk has bought the USA's policy direction. I think we will see the inequity in tax rates for the rich continue, with no real push back that will stop it.

Remember it was Trump and Co. that separated families at the border until the American people were so outraged at the cruelty they had to change their policy? Us Canadians need you to have our back with their really bad ideas on tariffs.

In 2018 trade negotiations. Trump tweeted his approval on a Monday morning for what he called a “wonderful” trilateral agreement. It was his agreement. What has changed? Americans need to have our back on this. A deep Canadian recession is most likely the outcome if not.

The idea of government efficiency oversight is a good one. The people in charge must not have any skin in the game.

Threatening a 25% tariff is a stab in the back with little to no change that would impact the Americans as a final outcome. The incoming administration must know the concern in Canada. Most of the American people feel there is no problem with the current trade relations. They need have our back here.

So Canada has been America's closest Ally with the longest undefended border in the world with few issues. You can even cross it without a passport or even stop to be checked in certain circumstances. We've had little to no trade issues that haven't been worked out easily. What exactly has changed?

Canada has been with America in every war except the Iraq war. Somehow we called that one right and your intelligence got it completely wrong. Just the threat of a 25% tariff feels like a stab in the back.
