Two-thirds of pharmacies in British Columbia can provide the abortion pill within 3 days, but some people need to call several pharmacies to find the drug, especially in larger urban centres.
In our new paper, ARCC calls for a shift toward a self-managed abortion model in Canada that expands access to care via increased telehealth service, pharmacist dispensing, and midwife prescribing.
