You know what feature Discord has been missing? A fiduciary responsibility to make profits for a bunch of shareholders. It’s what consumers crave.

@edzitron.com When ThatGameCompany made their mobile MMO in 2019, they wanted a one-time cost. The lead designer has said Apple specifically pushed them to be free with MicroTX. Now Apple will sell you a subscription to play games that don't have them, profiting off the industry they helped destroy.
