They are dismissive of the other leagues, due to the lazy assessment that the “Premier League is the best league in the world”. And while the financial heft of the English Premier League is unrivalled, that doesn’t mean that these pundits should be so disparaging of the other European leagues.

The problem with most of the British football pundits, is that they are sorely lacking in knowledge of the other European leagues. As such they lack the foundational knowledge needed to make the critical analysis of players in the Premier League. And are quick to declare players world class.
