Been revisiting this album lately.

It hits so close home how apocalyptic the vibe is on this release. Genuinely terrifying marriage of intense lyricism and psychotic instrumentals. The world hasn't stopped ending since this came out and I think it gives it a timeless quality.

At some point, overseas audiences will discover just how isanely hard Aussie metalcore goes. People like to think about Brisbane being a big country town but there are people doing the fucking work here.

Was thinking to myself earlier 'If I was pressed, what actually are my favourite albums?' I think this is a reasonable answer for the moment.

Only thing I miss from Twitter is the straight up schitzoposting on the TL. Bluesky is definitely much more chill and I like that, but sometimes I wanna watch social media bloodsports, ya know?

I produced/mixed this alt metal EP for a mate. Turned out awesome imo, very proud.

One of the tracks features Jorgen from Shining and tbh having a credit alongside an artist I've been listening too since high school makes me feel like I'm on top of the world.

TISM remains the perfect rock* band as they can only be enjoyed by Australians and that insanely hyper-specific focus makes their commentary/humour absolutely timeless.

Y'all may like Bluey, but you'll never fuck with TISM.
